The Outreach Ministries coordinate and administer programs, strategies, and developmental training to facilitate spiritual growth and discipleship.
Community & Global Sharing
Dr. Gail N. Edmonds, Coordinator
All people deserve the opportunity to see and hear the good news of life in Jesus Christ. And we believe that the church is called to this great task...locally and globally. Therefore, we are committed to partnering with other organizations, spiritual transformation, holistic ministry, loving and serving people as they are, and developing and employing the resources and abilities God has given us for the benefit of others.
Gift of Love Center
Deaconess Merian Bates, Coordinator
Through the Gift of Love Center, the church reaches out to a group of people that society often scorns and neglects: ex-offenders, homeless persons, single parents, drug users, and their families. The Gift of Love Center provides food and clothing and seeks to reconcile these persons and their families to God, to each other, and to the community through the transforming love and grace of Jesus Christ. The Center also offers counseling and educational resources.
Prime Age Seniors
Ms. Irish McNeill, Coordinator
The Prime Age Seniors Ministry provides fellowship activities and special outreach opportunities for the seniors of our church and community. A variety of monthly activities afford seniors the opportunity to meet others with like interests. Activities include educational sight-seeing tours, travel to interesting places, fashion shows, visits to local churches, and arts and crafts.
Ms. Jewel R. Kesler, Coordinator
The Prison Ministry reaches lives for Jesus Christ behind prison walls. Monthly outreaches and ministry events cultivate opportunities for men and women to maximize volunteerism in numerous facilities and to support the families of those who are incarcerated, especially at holiday times.
