What is Planned Giving ?
Planned giving provides CBC members and friends an opportunity to make legacy and endowment gifts for the future benefit of our church and its outreach ministries and mission work. These gifts will ensure that CBC will continue its witness for Christ and share the Gospel for generations to come. Donors can give:
- Cash
- Securities
- Personal Property
- Life Insurance
- Real Estate
- IRA and Retirement Plan Benefits
- Bequests via Trusts or Wills
Why Leave a Legacy?
For more than 100 years The Central Baptist Church of Baltimore City has served to strengthen the Christian witness of countless believers in Baltimore and around the world. Beyond the promise of the Lord’s eventual and glorious return we cannot predict the needs of our church or its ministries in the years and decades to come – whether it’s a special opportunity for evangelism, the need to serve in a time of crisis or the challenge of new and unique ministries. Whatever God has planned for us, we want to be prepared with resources to meet the needs, touch lives, and bring men, women, and children to a personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
How Do I Participate?
We receive gifts from bequests provided in individuals’ wills or through gifts made possible by various trust arrangements, retirement plans, and life insurance. Individuals may give a designated gift to The Central Baptist Church in memory or honor of friends and family. Gifts are treated as an endowment and the earnings on invested gifts are eligible to be distributed each year. To learn more about planned giving, contact us to schedule an appointment.
