A Time of Transition
We are in search of our next Senior Pastor.

An Important Message from the Board of Deacons
Prayer is a mighty weapon in our spiritual arsenal that we can depend on. The Bible says in James 4:2 that “we have not because we ask not” and 2 Chronicles 7:14 reminds us that God will respond if we “humble ourselves, pray and seek His face.” The New Testament Book of Acts demonstrates that church fasting and prayer were routine in seeking the Lord’s guidance for selecting church leaders.
We have agreed that the church set aside 30 days, September 24, 2023, through October 23, 2023, for prayer and fasting. We know that important decisions require faith and trust in God. In light of this, we ask that you trust God and pray for generous wisdom, a straight path forward, and a peaceful heart. As part of our efforts to select our next pastor, we invite our entire church family to pray, fast, and wait for God's revelation. Please visit this webpage often for updates on our progress moving forward.
Let us remember that fasting complements prayer, and fasting does not always involve food. You can decide to fast from coffee, television, or social media. Fasting heightens our spiritual awareness to God’s presence. It helps us exercise self-discipline and sacrifice, giving more attention to prayer. So, let us fast, pray, and wait for God’s direction.
